NY Website Marketing, NYC Website Marketing - What's the difference?

WOW. Let me repeat that. WOW!!!!! Every now and then I take a look at the old google.com website and do a few searches to see where our website marketing company shows up. In the past we have experienced being in the top 10 for a few different keywords. But if you take a gander at the below, I think you will see that we are doing better than ever!

Number 1 for "NY Website Marketing"
Number 1 for "NYC Website Marketing"
Number 2 for "website marketing ny"

Number 4 for "search engine marketing ny"
Number 5 for "new york ecommerce"
Number 6 for "website marketing nyc"
Number 6 for "ny search engine marketing"
Number 7 for "nyc website design"
Number 7 for "ny ecommerce"
Number 7 for "ecommerce ny"
Number 7 for "ecommerce nyc"
Number 8 for "search engine marketing nyc"
Number 8 for "ny website design"
Number 9 for "nyc ecommerce"
Number 9 for "internet marketing ny"
Number 9 for "nyc internet marketing"
Number 10 for "new york website marketing"

So THAT explains why we have been doing so well over the past year. Let's put it this way, anyone can have a great looking website. Anyone can have a website that functions well. But NOT everyone can be at the top of google for specific keywords. You have to do the research, analyze what is going on in your industry, implement the right procedures and reel in the rewards. 2005 has been a great year for us. If you are looking ahead to 2006, you need to start NOW! As with everything, website marketing takes time. It takes time to research, it takes time to implement and it takes time for google to recognize you. Then after you are recognized, you need to climb the ladder. You are not going to make it to the top spot in a month or 2. But with taking the proper steps, you can always rise higher.

Here at SalemGlobal, we take pride in what we do for our clients. They appreciate what we do for them but bottomline is that they expect results. Bottomline is, are we driving people and traffic to their website? And once they are at the website, are they buying the products? (As in the case of ecommerce.) And/or are they filling out the contact forms. Are potential clients contacting them and asking for proposals. Is their website getting them in the game?

At the end of the year, our clients do analysis regarding where they spend their marketing dollars. If we can show them ROI, they stay with us. If we show them a HIGH ROI (return on investment), we not only get re-hired, we get a larger budget, make more money and they tell their family, friends and colleagues about us. Thus making us more money.

If you are planning your marketing strategy for 2006, give us a call, send us an email or fill out our website project free estimate form.

Gary Rome Hyundai

Very excited to be working with Gary Rome Hyundai. Based in Holyoke, MA, we have been working over phone and email to get their hyundai automotive site ranked higher in the major search engines and listed with all of the major directories. Our first objective was to work on their sister car parts and hyundai car accessories ecommerce site http://www.hyundaiaccessorystore.com and try to increase their sales. First we analyze, then we optimize, and now we are in the content building stage. Now we are more focusing on http://www.garyromehyundai.com and redesigning with a focus on keywords in key places throughout the site as well as relevant links and increased content. For a great new hyundai and amazing customer service, go see Gary Rome, go meet buddy (the dog) and say hi to the web team, Tim, Eric, Josh, and Gerry. See you in Western MASS.

Practical eCommerce

I just got my new ecommerce magazine in the mail. This is the type of small town industry magazine that someone had the brilliant idea of putting together. It gives great tips on ecommerce, SEO and general website usability. They profile a website of the month and have really good pointers that are useful for anyone doing business on the web. This months main feature is about Keyword Sleuthing - locating the right keywords to buy and optimize for your business and website.

And as a continual push to get people to my seminars, these topics are exactly what I cover...

Steve Case at AOL just resigned from Time Warner

Well, I can't say I am not jealous. Steve Case and I have 1 thing in common. We both use the Internet. Aside from that, he is a multimillionaire, a successful business person, sold his company to Time Warner. Got onto their board and has shares worth 0.3%. Not bad for the old domino pizza guy.

As for SalemGlobal and website marketing here in NYC, we are back in action on this fine Halloween. Lots of meetings this week, our website marketing seminar series was picked up by Crains NY events, and I am hoping Bernardo Joselevich of famed Bernardo's List sends out news of my seminar and workshop today.

As for communications here at SG, I finally finally finally upgraded my PDA and cellphone. I am now the proud owner of a TREO 650. Now I can really be an Internet road warrior.

Have a great week! Oh and sign up for the seminar series while there are still some seats left...

The New SalemGlobal Internet Blog - Its about time...and other website marketing stuff

Well, its finally here. The one you have been waiting for. The official SalemGlobal Internet Website Marketing Internet Consulting and Ecommerce Solution blog. I know. You have been waiting for years. Why now? Why did it take so long? Why not yesterday? Why not tomorrow? Why today?

Ok Ok. Let me answer by saying this. I have been busy. I mean, building websites and then marketing takes time. You have to analyze your current website, then do some research on the industry involved, then you have to come up with a gameplan, implement it, review, approve, publish and well, you know. WORK!

So let me get back to announcing the official blog of the company. Here you will learn all about what is going on at SalemGlobal. AKA SG.

And today was yet another Jewish holiday on the calendar. Yes folks. I, Raphi Salem, CEO of SalemGlobal Internet take off for Yom Kippur. But that doesn't mean that I am going to sleep tonight. It means that though I was exhausted a few hours ago, I recognize that I have some work to do. So without further ado, here is the latest news in my professional world.

You see. I get a bunch of different industry newsletters and news alerts. So I figured this would be the best way to let you know about what's going on. And if you have any questions or comments, just leave a message or send one.

Yahoo and Microsoft are teaming up to go head to head with Google and AOL. Now THAT'S news! There are a bunch of places you can read all about it. Here is my resource: http://www.internetweek.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=172300323

And of course, Apple is introducing the new video Ipod. Read about it here: http://www.informationweek.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=172300678

I think its a good first post. There are bound to be better and bound to be worse. Good luck! And enjoy the future...
